About Hinglish T-Shirts
Six tees, all Hinglish, across all three cuts: the two Drop 01 ringers, three oversized tees in Devanagari wordplay, and one baby tee. Plan toh bana tha. Hua kuch nahi.
Daru kab piyenge? is a hand-drawn flowchart that runs from a phone to India Gate to a clock. Pehle regret phir cigarette is a black-and-white photographic triptych - a rainy night street, a train standing at a platform, a table outside under lights - with the line set beneath it in italic serif, ending in a red full stop.
Both are ringers, and the only ringers in the range - a relaxed fit with contrast trim at the collar and cuffs, a ribbed neck, self-turned sleeves and a bio-wash. Roomy, but not oversized and not drop-shouldered, and about three inches narrower in the chest at every size. Pehle regret phir cigarette runs black on white, mustard on off-white and maroon on off-white; Daru kab piyenge? runs black on white and maroon on off-white. 240 GSM 100% cotton, XS to XXL, one unisex sizing, small wordmark on the chest.
Ka kha ga, Inability and Aap zara are oversized, and all three are Devanagari wordplay printed large across the back - the kind that only lands once you read it out loud. None of them is polite, on purpose. Ka kha ga, black, maroon or coral, opens with "क ख ग घ", the first letters of the Hindi alphabet, and goes somewhere else on the second line. Inability, white or off white, sets "INABILITY TO" in serif capitals over a row of Devanagari letters in charcoal grey. Aap zara, black, navy blue or maroon, asks "आप जरा ... होंगे?", a very polite Hindi question with a very impolite middle. Ka kha ga and Inability leave the front completely plain; Aap zara has a small BEZZATI in spaced capitals on the chest. Dropped shoulders, extra body length, plain crew neck, no contrast trim. 240 GSM 100% cotton, XS to XXL, one unisex sizing.
Kaleshi Aurat is the baby tee: "Kaleshi aurat", Hinglish for a woman who picks fights, in red brush capitals across the front, on black or navy blue, with nothing on the back. A cropped, close-fitting women's cut in 240 GSM, 95% cotton and 5% spandex, bio-washed, sized by "to fit chest" on its own chart.
